Tja, schlechtester DQ-Start aller Zeiten würde ich sagen.

Stimmt, Dragon Quest I damals auf dem Famicom wird mit mehr gestartet sein.

Aber vielleicht warten ja alle auf die Wii U-Version...^^

Oder aber es erreicht als Online-Only-RPG mit Gebühren viele frühere Käufer nicht die einfach nur ein normales Offline-RPG möchten, so wie es zehn Jahre zuvor auch Final Fantasy XI passiert ist [First Week auf PlayStation 2 ~60.000]. Die 370.000 bis 400.000 sind ein guter Start für Dragon Quest X.

Und als diese dann verfügbar waren hat das Spiel auf der PlayStation 2 für ein Final Fantasy sagenhafte 750.000 bis 800.000 Einheiten verkauft. Über fünf Jahre. Mit neun Versionen. Das ein MMORPG-Beitrag einer Serie die keine MMORPG-Serie ist nicht die Zahlen der "normalen" Spiele erreicht sollte klar sein. Insgesamt aber war Final Fantasy XI das finanziell erfolgreichste Final Fantasy für Square überhaupt, dank der monatlichen Gebühren die auch bei Dragon Quest X anfallen. Btw. ist Dragon Quest X jetzt schon das erfolgreichste MMORPG auf einer Konsole in Japan, rein von den verkauften Einheiten.
