10.01.06 - Nintendo gibt bekannt, dass Tetris DS am 20.02.06 in Europa erscheinen wird. Drahtlose Duelle sind mit nur einem einzigen Modul mit bis zu 10 NDS-Besitzern möglich. Über die 'Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection' spielen 2 oder 4 Spieler gegeneinander.
Also ich freu mich auch riesig drauf. Tetris Online ist das größte überhaupt! Auf der Xbox habe ich bestimmt insgesamt 200 Stunden 'Tetris Worlds' online gespielt, und dabei war das nichtmal so besonders... Und das Teil wird sich mit Sicherheit verkaufen wie sonstwas
Aber Tetris macht doch immer spaß daher werde ich seit 1989 mal wieder eine Tetris Version zulegen . Nu müssen wir nur noch warten wann es für Europa soweit ist
Nintendo of America has released more details on the upcoming WFC-compatible Tetris DS this morning.
New screenshots show that at least one game mode will let players use both screens as one extra-large playfield. The pictured new mode is based on Balloon Fight, and shows a theme-specific item of a cage of balloons — purpose yet unclear. It's reasonable to speculate that different game modes have different themed items to use.
Nintendo also describes the Standard and Touch modes as follows:
* Standard: This Mario-themed mode features the same addictive game play that made the original Tetris so wildly popular. Players guide falling Tetriminos (falling blocks) and form horizontal lines to clear them away. Mario runs around Super Mario Bros. levels in the background.
* Touch: This unique take on Tetris really shows off the touch-screen capability of Nintendo DS. Players use a stylus to drag and move Tetriminos in a giant stack to make them fall into horizontal lines. In early levels, they can tap Tetriminos to spin them just the way they need them. Players have as much time as they need to carefully plan their moves, so it plays very differently from the other frantic modes.
Hm, ich hoffe doch, dass die Klötzchen etwas hübscher werden. Mit mehr Details, wie beim Gameboy. Klingt banal (und ist es auch ) aber mich würde es freuen!

Das Boxart find ich geil
Sieht auf den ersten Blick garnicht so Nintendoig aus, vor allem bleibt der Tetrisstil voll erhalten - ich hatte schon eine völlig zugemariote Verpackung erwartet. Und dennoch ein Mario drauf, aber ein Klassiker, mit Stil.
